Date: January 7, 2010CPI recently issued a purchase order for a state-of-the-art TranSim IV Simulator for its Transportation Training Center and Commercial Driving Program. The simulator selected is developed and manufactured by MPRI; a world leader is simulator technology. MPRI provides global products and technology for military, law enforcement, and commercial applications.
The TranSim IV Simulator has the following features:
"The TranSim simulator system will offer options, conditions, and scenarios to students that we cannot provide using live equipment" stated Todd Taylor, Director of Adult and Post-Secondary Education. "Not only will our CDL students benefit from exposure to simulator technology, but we envision significant interest and demand for additional training from our local transportation-related industries" stated Mr. Taylor.
